European, American and Asian prints, drawings and paintings
from the Bravura collection plus contemporary nature
and local scenes by East End photographers Chris Foster
and Anthony Lombardo.
The gallery is displaying a wide range of styles and
mediums by a diverse group of artists including: Alvar,
Barooshian, Burliuk, Cherry, De Kooning, Foster, Fukui,
Galetar, Gomory, Kawashima, Kurhajec, Lombardo, Lovejoy,
Motoi-oi, Pfeiffer, Prado, Silva, Solari, Tschacbasov,
Tsurutani, Yates and Zevon. The images, all printed
or individually created on paper, explore the diversity
of modern figurative and abstract art. Bold color saturated
silk screens by Nadine Prado exhibited with the delicate
intaglio etchings of Margarita Galetar and Francois
Debert, alongside painterly works by Tschacbasov and
the Op Art sensibilities of Fukui and Kawashima, offer
insight to modes of visual expression in the mid to
late 20th century printmaking, painting and drawing
on paper.
This selection of images provides an affordable means
of introducing modern art into the home. The framed
artworks are shown in conjunction with an extensive
collection of vintage Scandinavian & German ceramics,
Tribal art, Murano glass and handcrafted furniture and
objects by contemporary artists Ryan Bollmann and Cal
Thompson. The art and objects have been chosen to appeal
to the new as well as to the advanced collector.
WE LOOK FORWARD
TO SEEING YOU!
